Why this was a colour correction and not a regrowt

Why this was a colour correction and not a regrowth appointment 💡 I’ve outlined our problem areas in the slides, as well as our after photos. Our goal was soft, lived in and clean and golden. I had a quite a bit of banding, uneven colour and build up to work with (the light was very good at the time we took before photos, so the ends look cleaner than they were 😂). A combination of fine weaves/slices, lowlights and balayage were used to transform. I lightened with @elevenaustraliacolour 7 and 9 levels of lift lightener with various developers. Toned with 7.GM, 7.V and 8.N through the roots and 9.GA and 9.G plus clear for ends 💕

*jaw drops to the floor* 😍 For the last 1-2 years we’ve only done face framing foils and a touch of balayage for Saskia, so it was time for a big colour. A combination of babylights, fine slices and balayage were used to achieve this beautiful colour. We won’t need to colour for quite a few months, only when Saskia is ready to add some brightness around her face ☺️

This was a quick 1.5 hour appointment. When I tell you that you are in control of your hair journey, I mean it! I’m just here to help you get there 💕

After the last two years we all deserve it 💕💕 Now that I’ve recharged I’ll do my best to be more active here and keep you up to date. ☀️HOLIDAY MODE ☀️ Just a little reminder I’m on holidays at the moment, but will be back in salon on the 29th of May. Of course I’ve brought my fave @k18hair along and have been using it every wash. All the elements of a tropical holiday can be super damaging on our hair. The heat, chlorinated water, saltwater and even the change in water quality. Even the change in water quality alone can give your hair quite a shock. If you have a holiday planned, come in for a pre vacay trim and pick up a bottle of K18. Your hair will thank you, trust me 💕
